The 2024 Silverado 1500 Trim Lineup

Each of the 2024 Silverado 1500’s nine trims offers something unique for its exterior, interior, and handling. From lowest to highest—in price and appointments—they are the WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, LT Trail Boss, RST, LTZ, High Country, and ZR2. (There are technically ten trims if you count the ZR2 Bison Edition, but this is simply considered a variant of the ZR2.)

The 2024 Silverado 1500 WT

It comes standard with the 2.7-liter TurboMax four-cylinder, which makes 310 hp at 430 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The WT can also employ a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8—which makes 355 hp at 383 lb-ft of torque—paired with the ten-speed automatic transmission. Automatic start/stop also comes standard along with the basics of the Chevy Safety Assist suite, such as automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane change alert, lane departure warnings, following distance indicator, and a forward collision alert.

Black recovery hooks also come standard on the Custom, as do a high-capacity suspension package and 20-inch wheels paired with 32-inch all-season tires. The trailering package also comes standard, featuring a trailer hitch, hitch platform, two-inch receiver hitch with four- and seven-pin connectors, and a seven-wire electrical harness with a seven-pin sealed connector for connecting a trailer and trailer brakes. The interior of the Custom offers a few slight upgrades over the WT, such as a ten-way power driver seat with lumbar support and standardized front rubberized vinyl floor mats. The 2024 Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss

The Custom Trail Boss includes all of the standard features of the Custom trim but with some additional features. The TurboMax is standard, but the 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 and the 3.0-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel are also available. The Duramax inline six-cylinder offers 305 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque and is attached to a ten-speed automatic transmission. The Custom Trail Boss also comes with the Z71’s two-inch suspension lift kit, 18-inch high gloss black-painted aluminum wheels, and hitch guidance.

The Custom Trail Boss also comes with exterior features like body-color front and rear bumpers, deep-tinted glass, and heated driver-side auto-dimming power-folding mirrors. You also get a standard 120-volt power outlet and cruise control, as well as all the other infotainment features. The 2024 Silverado 1500 LT

The LT is one of the most popular trims of the Silverado 1500. It comes standard with the TurboMax but is available with the EcoTec3 V8 and the Duramax Turbo-Diesel. The LT comes standard with 17-inch bright silver painted aluminum wheels, chrome front and rear bumpers, chrome mirror caps, and all of the content from the All-Star Edition, though you can upgrade to the All-Star Edition Plus.

The Convenience Package is another standard feature, getting you dual-zone automatic climate control, a ten-way power driver seat, heated front driver and passenger seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel that, too, is heated. This package also comes with a 120-volt power outlet, a 120-volt bed-mounted power outlet, and two charge-only USB ports in the second row. Theft alarms, keyless open and start, and remote start are also standard, as are high-intensity LED reflector headlamps and EZ Lift power lock and release tailgate.

While it comes standard with the TurboMax, it’s also available with the 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8, the Duramax Turbo-Diesel, and the 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8, which makes 420 hp at 460 lb-ft of torque. The LT Trail Boss comes standard with 18-inch high gloss aluminum wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac mud-terrain tires.

Like the Custom Trail Boss, the LT Trail Boss also comes with the Z71 two-inch suspension lift kit and an automatic locking rear differential; you also get a wrapped and heated steering wheel, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, and the LT’s infotainment system.

A two-speed Autotrac transfer case is standard on the LT Trail Boss for off-road traversal when configured in four-wheel drive. Instead of coming standard with the TurboMax, it comes standard with the 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 and the electronic transmission range selector with the external auxiliary transmission oil cooler. The LTZ also boasts a high-capacity suspension package, an integrated trailer brake controller, and the Trailering Package.

You get a front and rear bumper, mirror caps, and door handles—all in chrome—as well as 20-inch sterling silver wheels, halogen reflector headlamps, perimeter lighting, rain-sensing automatic wipers, the power up/down tailgate, and the full Chevy infotainment suite with a wireless charging pad in the center console.

The 2024 Silverado 1500 ZR2

The ZR2 is the top-end trim for the Silverado 1500, and it comes with a lot of high-end features, like the ZR2 suspension package with Multimatic DSSV dampers and high-performance lifted suspension. It comes standard with the Duramax engine but is also available with a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8.
